Apprenticeship

The Apprenticeship Program is for teachers looking to gain experience. Perfection is NEVER the goal. We recognize authenticity is paramount and honor you as an individual. We offer support, foster confidence and feed perspective. To hone teaching skills takes time, but most importantly practice. Enjoy an open space to get in front of students and to explore your craft. Throughout the Apprenticeship Program, you’ll be expected to teach 1 class per week at The Collective over 4 weeks. All of these classes take place in our designated “Community Class” that is donation based. Any funds collected are donated to The Collective. After your weekly class, you’ll have a 1:1 in-person session with a founding teacher who’ll provide direct feedback on your class as well as focused work in which you get to choose the focus (i.e. anatomy, sequencing, adjustments, communication, queuing, playlists etc.)

We prefer to leave the weekly structure open and adaptable in this program to fit each apprentice’s wants and needs. Combined, the founding teachers have years of experience and can be of great service to the emerging teacher in whichever category they feel they’d like to work in.

*Upon graduation of the Apprenticeship Program, there will be various opportunities from which the apprentice can continue to grow with The Collective.
