Breathwork involves rapid and deep breathing through the mouth to increase oxygen intake and promote physical and emotional release.

Chemen, a native of Turkmenistan in Central Asia, is a certified yoga instructor with 6 years of experience. She holds certifications in E-RYT 500, E-RYT 200, YACEP , Breathwork, and Pranayama through Yoga Alliance. In addition to her yoga expertise, Chemen is a concert pianist, piano instructor, and fluent in four languages.

Chemen's journey with yoga began after a breast cancer diagnosis, leading her to St. Petersburg Yoga. Her experience proved transformative, helping her recover emotionally and physically from cancer treatment. A year later, she feels stronger, more energetic, and happier than ever.

Chemen's teaching approach varies to suit each student, encouraging them to meet themselves where they are and find their edge in body, mind, and life practices. Her classes are a reflection of her holistic approach to well-being.
