Join us in a beautiful ceremonial experience with sacred sound and cacao, honoring indigenous wisdom and earth medicine.
•Jenn will open our circle with smoke cleansing, candle lighting invocation, calling forth the blessing and guidance of the land, and a brief talk about the history and sacred usage of cacao, known to be a very heart opening plant medicine.
•Held in a medicine ceremony style passed on from my Peruvian teachers and Mayan elders, we will drink and connect with the spirit of cacao and our own heart's intentions while sharing songs and rituals.
•You'll then be invited to lie down (savasana style) for a guided visualization and sound journey with crystal singing bowls, soothing vocals and other instruments.
•We will end with a water blessing, cacao bliss balls, and sharing circle.
Cacao has an ancient origin in Aztec and Mayan cultures and was revered as a divine food. Jenn uses 100% ceremonial grade cacao purchased from her indigenous Mayan elders in Guatemala. This amazing superfood plant medicine is credited with opening up the heart space and greater dimensions of consciousness. It contains the "Bliss Molecule," anandamide, which can create a euphoric feeling, as well as the "Love Chemical" (phenylethylamine), which triggers the natural release of endorphins. It is not a psychedelic or intoxicant, and its effects are very gentle. Please bring your own mug.
There are a few scholarships available. First consideration will be given to BIPOC / LGBTQIA+. Please reach out to Jenn directly (hi@jenngaudreau.com).
