What drew you to The Collective?
I was drawn to the collective because I am a firm believer of evolution AND connection. I was yearning to step into a space that allowed growth and evolution without labels and a space that is truly a gathering space for the community by the community. As a teaching, therapist, friend, partner, daughter, sister, etc. I wanted to belong to a space that supported all of my identities and allowed me to grow through and with my community for all that I am.
What kind of teacher are you?
I am a teacher who focuses on the growth of the soul and how to fully emBODY our healing. I will not harp on alignment or the way postures “should” look. I aim to offer spaces of exploration that provide the space to dive deeper into the memories, traumas, and experiences stored within our bodies. Sometimes you’ll laugh your face off. Sometimes you’ll cry and wail. Sometimes you will feel silly and playful. Sometimes you will feel release and surrender. But whatever you feel you will always be supported and you will always feel ALIVE.
What else are you up to?
I am a social worker at St. Anthony’s Hospital I work with Baker Acted patients and the oncology unit. I also love to dance, do acro yoga, hike, go to music festivals, camp and spend time in nature.
