Learn and experience the history, philosophy and basic movements at the core of our practice. Drawing from the dance arts, martial arts and healing arts, Nia uses movement and music variety to create full-body functional fitness, mindfulness and empowered self-healing. Nia is more than just exercise. It's a movement practice that will pump your heart, spark your spirit, lubricate your joints, motivate your mind, release tension, enhance your balance, tone your muscles and much, much more. Mostly we like to have FUN!
Nia is appropriate for all fitness levels and abilities. Every body is welcome! Nia will move you.

About the host, Christine Stineman
Christine brings extensive knowledge of the body and a fun-loving energy to her Nia classes while providing a joyful, mindful movement arts experience for her students. She discovered Nia as a way to alleviate anxiety and depression and as a sustainable way to stay fit, self-heal and be well.
When she is not dancing, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and 14yo son, mountain biking, snow sports and being in nature. Originally from Connecticut and then Colorado, she has been sharing the Joy of Movement as Black Belt Nia teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist in St. Petersburg, FL since 2006.
