Rooted in Rhythm: a Black History Month Wellness Experience

Join us for an afternoon of embodied healing, rest, and restoration led by a powerful collective of Black women practitioners in honor of Black History Month. Rooted in Rhythm is a multi-modal wellness experience designed to help you reconnect with your body, breath, and inner wisdom through intentional movement and community care.

The practice for the day includes:

  • 2:15 PM: gentle yet energizing Yoga Flow with Darcie

  • 3:00 PM: strengthening Mat Pilates session with Maya

  • 3:45 PM: grounding tea break to pause and connect

  • 4:00 PM: Somatic Movement with Aja

  • 4:40 PM: restful Yin Yoga and Sound Healing experience with Joyce, accompanied by hands-on Reiki by Erica

  • 5:45 PM: closing

This experience centers Black joy, rest, and resilience - creating space to honor our histories while nurturing our present selves. Our intention is for you to feel supported, softened, and restored.

We welcome all who want to deepen their connection to themselves, the BIPOC community, and those looking for a deeper understanding of Black joy.
