An uplifting experience that blends the powerful essence of Black joy with the healing practices of yoga, meditation, and breathwork, all set to the rhythm of Black music. 

This all levels energizing to slow flow practice will lead into light guided meditation and breathwork to close out the session.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to deepen their connection to themselves, the BIPOC community, and those looking for a deeper understanding of Black joy.

Come as you are - let’s breathe, move, and groove together to celebrate the magic of Black existence!

About the host, Darcie

Darcie is a 200hr registered yoga instructor with a passion for wellness and movement. What began as a way to keep active, Darcie's love for yoga has transformed into a path of emotional and physical healing. Whether a power flow or a calm, restorative practice, Darcie provides space for students to connect with their bodies and embrace their personal growth journey.

About the host, Joyce

Joyce Mattioli, founder of Breathe with Joyce, believes in the power of mindfulness, and gains the most from practicing mindfulness through yoga, gardening, and crocheting.

When she’s not doing those things, she enjoy reading, writing, hanging with her son and husband, catching up with friends, brunch, animals, sunlight, the beach, and recently— making bread!
