About Lauren Bauer-

Lauren Bauer is a Level 4 Essentrics trainer. She is certified to teach both Essentrics and Aging Backwards, the latter inspired by the PBS documentary and New York Times bestseller by the same name and the long running PBS program Classical Stretch, hosted by program creator Miranda Esmonde-White.

A ballet teacher for many years, Lauren is also certified through American Council on Exercise and Progressing Ballet Technique. Throughout her teaching career she has continued her education regarding movement and the human body, most recently attending a series of workshops with Tom Myers Anatomy Trains, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, and James Nestor, author of Breath: The New Science of A Lost Art.

Lauren’s passion for teaching lies in sharing her accumulated knowledge of the workings of the human body, combined with the latest scientific research, with hopes of providing her students with tools to enhance their postural alignment, eliminate muscle imbalances, and unlock their full wellness potential. Her desire is for her students to experience conscious movement and awareness of their bodies, moving the way they were designed to move, while providing a safe space to try a new practice
